What makes Flamin' Hot Cheetos hot?

There is nothing in the ingredients that makes them hot, so I can see.

Anyone know?

I don't know, but my students are addicted to Hot Cheetos. They bring large quantities to lunch every day. I think they take turns.

Back when I was a kid we had to eat Andy Capp Hot Fries, while walking both ways to school and back through the snow.

Now they eat Flamin' Hot Cheetos while riding their Segways and texting their friends about the latest viral blog.

Because they're playing to a lazy audience, ie my age group. We like eliminating as many syllables as we can. Plus we don't like stopping and starting when we talk. Hold 'em flows better than Hold Them.

Now this paragraph in teen speak:

The so-called "hot" foods triggers a pain reation by the nervous system which in turn releases endorphins into the blood stream. In other words, Flamin' Hot Cheetos make your students high.
