The curvature required of a round-ish globe dictates a vanishing horizon using a specific formula.
For reality to not conform to this formula says one of three things:
    1. Either ...[text shortened]... wrong; or
    2. The dimensions attributed to the earth are wrong; or
    3. The earth is not round.

The thread was quite embarrassing for you I thought. If you are of a different view and are proud of your performance in it, then perhaps you should provide the link for other readers to enjoy the spectacle.

This is going to be good! Care to post the evidence?

So, I see you're still declaring yourself the winner of that thread's debate? 😀

    Winner, winner, chicken dinner.
That's right, MF-er: I'm the winner up in here.
    You're the loser.
    Lou--ew-ew-ew-ewwww-ser.

    And do you know why?
(Of course you don't! That's why you're such a LOSER at this whole game after all, am I right? Of course I am.)

You're a loser because you are on (wait for it)

    THE WRONG SIDE OF REALITY.

See that off in the distance, barely perceptible just on the horizon?
    That is reality.
You're way back there in the dark, waiting for the dawn of reason to slowly add warmth and light to your downcast face.

    Look up!
    Look up, MF-er!
The sun is coming up way up there toward reality!
    Come feel its warmth, buddy!

Just let people read the thread in question. All this bluster on your part sits a bit oddly for a poster who seems so certain he will be vindicated if people read the thread.

    Um, numbnuts?
The link has been provided (desperately-so, it seems) by the ol' MF-er hisself now several times.
Do you want me to hit the audience over the head with it, insult them with it?

my performance in the thread was about average.

I did my best with the poorly equipped group I was working with.

Do NOT listen to MF-er and read the thread!
    Do you hear me?

I'm warning each and every one of you!
    Don't get me angry!

Why all the bravado? If the thread's content bears out your version of what happened in that discussion, then so be it. It's not clear why you're attempting all this hairy chest stuff on this thread when the original thread is there for all to read if they so choose.

One, I happen to like avocado.
Two, sadly, my chest is several hairs short of hairy.
Three, like a lot of several hairs.
Four, did I not make very, very clear that I do not want anyone, ever to read that thread?
Five, stop bringing that thread up.
Six, if I have to take hair from my ass and put it on my chest, does this warrant a recount?

EDIT: Do you get the feeling you're the douche bag in the situation?

I'm not sure what the purpose of all this is when the discussion has already been had and people can access it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, MF-er, and suggest it's because you're so tone deaf that things need to be repeated.
Plus, you're a little (just the teensiest bit, so don't let it detract you from your day-to-days) daft.
