I only recently started using this site, but I've been playing correspondence chess for a while. I find that when I have multiple games going, I can't remember my plans in each one. I've already made 2 game losing blunders because I forgot my idea from the day before.
For example:
I played Nxe5 before I went to bed and my opponent responded how I predicted while I was asleep. Then I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to play another move, but I totally forgot that my intention was to play Qh5+ to pick up the bishop. I instead thought my knight was still undeveloped and I could just kick the bishop. Then when the next move came I realized what I had done.
Is there a way to make a premove or something to avoid this in the future?
@astalliana saidi have always found a pen and paper helps jog ones memory.

Not a feature I use myself, but there is a Conditional move tab to the right of the game board that should prevent that happening in the future. (Would also advise against making moves in the middle of the night). π
Welcome to the site.

Yes. Use the "Notes" feature. You will find a clickable button between "Clock" & "Messages", just below the "Wait this game … Resign" row of buttons. Make notes to yourself, what moves you intend; your opponents cannot see them. Don't forget to number the moves, so you don't lose your place in the game.
@badradger saidWhat does this have to do with Tuesday?

@badradger saidHmm. Well I guess that's why you lose so much more then win.
