Hi,
There seems to be some strong feelings regarding the moderation on
the forums. Currently moderators are limited to simple "approve"
and "reject" options on new posts - and once a post is approved it
can't be subsequently rejected - therefore if someone lets a post slip
through - only myself and Russ can remove it (and currently neither of
us really has the time!).
I will be updating the moderation method shortly to allow, for
example, moderators to reject existing posts.
Sometimes we make people moderators - but often we don't get
around to telling them! You can only tell if you are a moderator if you
have a link saying something like "x posts waiting to be moderated"
when you are viewing the list of posts in a forum.
Oh, and don't forget to check out the new "RHP Live" forum. Russ is
currently working on adding some much requested functionality to RHP
and your input would be very gratefully received!
