Nobody posted anything in the general forum between 00:41, Dec. 28 to 09:50, Dec. 28. That is a gap of nine hours and nine minutes where nobody had anything to say. It seems unfathomable. Where is T1000 when you need him?
Originally posted by rwingettWell, the forums seem to be in good shape for the day. My work here is done. I have to leave my apartment and go interact with some real people for a while. A potentially messy business, but it must be done.

There is something that needs fixing here.Count how many active posters have withdrawn profiles and atvars etc.It might be that the festive time is stresstive time.
Brothers and Sisters lets grow stronger not drift apart.

In games with certain users (and also from several posts stretching back a couple of months) I have been looked down upon and patronised by older peeps who really think that my problems involve whether to grow a beard and which duvet to buy. To begin with it didn't matter, but the lack of respect and belittling grew very tiresome.
In an attempt to lighten, to my own expense it seems, the atmosphere in the forums I guess (to those who made the comments) I played the jester, someone who did the entertainment and trotted away to a simple life of squirrels and duvets.
Not to worry though. Thanks to a convo with a very dear friend (who recently has got himself a rather excellent avatar!) I don't really care anymore. He gave me the realisation that there are a few bods who do know that I'm not quite as shallow as it sometimes appears in the forums, and that I do have slightly harder things to contend with than beards and things, and these are the people who matter. The others can belittle and snigger all they like.
Thanks big man. Expect a thread or two coming soon 😀

Ah, the forums feel better already.

PS. Said very much in jest Rob. If people cared half as much and posted half as well and interestingly as you do then the forums really would be a place to visit.
