I finally got the add-on for synchronizing my bookmarks. Firefox has a ton of other add-ons but I'm not sure which ones are actually useful. I use Dreamweaver for the web site I manage, so I don't know if downloading anything sophisticated would be worth the keystrokes.

Does anyone use StumbleUpon? Are there any other add-ons you would recommend for or against?

Greasemonkey, just for this site.

I use a Google one with a spellchecker and a mini search box with more options then the normal one. I also cut down on space so I moved the white URL bar to the top row and have all my icons on the second. I also have a button that takes me straight to my Gmail account with one click.

I have that on the white bar beneath the tool bar -- gmail, rhp, and a couple other sites that I check daily or more than daily. I'll check out the other stuff. Thanks!

Where can I get the one that gets me to my gmail account in one click?
Thanks🙂

Adblock Plus, Add Bookmark Here, All-In-One Sidebar, Answers, Back to Top, Crash Recovery, CustomizeGoogle, Extended Statusbar, Fasterfox, FirefoxMenuButtons, FlashBlock, FoxClocks, GooglePreview, Greasemonkey, ImageZoom, Linkification, Mouse Gestures, NoScript, Print/Print Preview, Read Easily, Search IMDB and Talkback are the extensions I have installed.

Its just a bookmark.

Right click on the grey area at the top of the screen, and make sure there is a tick next to "Bookmarks Toolbar", then you can add bookmark "buttons" at the top of the page.

This is one extension I use, FireFox seems worse on other people computers without it, also you can remove the buttons you don't use to make it neater.

As for Gmail, I thought it was on that but I can't seem to see it listed under the features I will look for it. Try right clicking then customise that might have it there now.

[EDIT] Looks like it is just a bookmark and the icon is the small Gmail envelope logo.

stumbleupon is good too, I reckon.

Oh yeah, and IEView for if you have to use IE for a site.

Is there an add-on that turns written URLs into "clickable" links?

(Like my lingo?)

Most of the add-ons I use have been mentioned. In addition, I use Session Manager, which allows me to start from where I left when I open the browser.
