Insert a comma between them. Then read again. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard%27s_Watch
it truly would be amazing to be have the power to freeze time. There are so many ideas that come to mind. many of the ideas are just to naughty to type lol 😛

I would make my way into a TV station and put replace whatever was showing with an episode of "Dream On" - a quality show from the 80s.
Maybe I would reverse the direction of electricity or make a black hole on the way. Not sure how, but I am sure that feckinng about with the space-time continuum would do that sort of thing.
A black hole AND Dream On - ahhh happiness.
I liked that show, always had a good nude scene when the rather middle-aged publisher would score with some knock-out (hence its title). Worked rather well for a pubescent boy.

If you could freeze time, and everything and everyone was stopped except you, what would you do?
BTY - anyone remember that show where that young girl could stop time by touching her two index fingers together? she could unfreeze anybody she wanted by touching them. Its a real old show, maybe on for a couple seasons back in the 80's
If I was feeling sadistic, I'd syphon all the water out of my local swimming pool.
😕

It was one of my favorite episodes.

Originally posted by Will EverittI think there was a bid time difference in "Contact." When Jodie Foster went to the other planet it was like 2 seconds on earth but years for her

Of course if you take the case literally, if time froze for everyone but
you, the rest of the universe would stop also. It would mean
everything and everybody would be as if they weighed a million tons.
You couldn'g move them or anything and you couldn't eat or drink
because all that stuff would be frozen, unable to move, so you have
to introduce some kindly factor in order to survive.

Originally posted by jimmyb270Yes, sonhouse is correct... I forgot to mention that he couldn't act directly on anything to change its movement. Like Sonhouse said, time was moving, albeit very slowly, and he couldn't affect that movement in any way (cosmic inertia, I guess). Stuff that was truly immobile, I think, could be moved. All I remember is that he tied a rope (or something similar) to the truck's handbrake and somehow attached it to the truck's axle (or wheel) so that when the truck moved forward, it pulled the handbrake and stopped the truck.
