I thought it was an urban legend, but today I saw them
banging their hipster drums and giving flowers away,

Next you take a cafeteria tray and get behind each one in turn and swat them on the bottom with it. If that doesn't get them moving, add in a perjorative statement about their sister. Then after getting as many as you can, run like hell with all of them chasing you like Adam Sandler in Anger Management.
