What's the funniest film you've ever seen.

I loved 'The Producers' and 'Montey Python and the Holy Grail'. (How do you know he's the King?. Well, he hasn't got shit all over him)

Agreed - This is Spinal TaP is brilliant (Rock and Roll!)

How about the funniest scene/line in your chosen film(s) everybody? I love the bit where the leader of the band explains why the volume knob on his amp goes from 0-11 (everyone elses only goes up to 10, but he has the ability to outdo them by turning his up to 11!)

no-from spinal tap it's gotta be the bit with the cucumber...good stuff!

"Life of Brian" for me.

More recently, one of the funniest films I have seen, and would recommend to anyone is "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".

I also just watched "Scary Movie" for the first time and was expecting it to be terrible. It wasn't - it was very funny.

If you're talking about a pure comedy film,my vote would go to Blazing Saddles. The scene with Alex Karras punching out the horse is a classic. If you want one that was not supposed to be a comedy,but became one anyway,you need to go no further than Plan 9 From Outer Space(or any other Ed Wood movie!)
