I checked out Gameknot.... Not so hot compared to RHP. I did find one feature they have that is SUPER COOL.

It is a Windows Menu aplet that adds a chess tool bar to your browser. It has direct links to all the hot stuff there at a click.

If RHP had a similiar tool (its a lot like Yahoo companion) that would be realllllllly neat. I have one game at gameknot, and don't plan to play any others there. I don't much care for the look or layout of the site... the forums stink.

I know this might seem a little stupid but I think it would be good to have a way of telling if a player was online or not (like the green asterisk on Gameknot)

I have one game going there too.And,like you,I don't like it much.That game is going to be the only one.But how the heck did you get to the forums?I can't find them anywhere.😳

Well, the one thing that would make my sister-in law play me on here, is if I could offer her the chance to take back blunders in a friendly game.

The one thing that would help me is if there was some "tryout" mode I could enter where I could do both black's and white's moves and step backwards and forwards through the game - branching to a different move at any point.

The one thing that I really don't like is how a pawn take en-passant fails to disappear when stepping through the move history.

I went to gameknot and it seems that RHP is easier to navigate and a lot easier to read. With all the techno colors of gameknot bouncing at my eyes I could hardly see 😲😲
