He's too earnest - to the point of always looking worried. You can't have much faith in a manager that always looks like he's got the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I felt sorry for him last night.....They were robbed at Villa Park.

early days yet, a bad day against cardiff. but other than that has done a good job. he was left with a poor team by mclaren and has done well to get them where they are. many people had boro down as a bottom 3 team, but they are looking like a mid-table team, a good draw at villa shows they can play.
his mr nice persona will erode with time. dealing with spoilt players and selfish agents everyday will soon make him angry and bitter.
