Only if you do the double award. It's possible to get a single award as well.

Yep, Resistant materials? (this is essentially woodwork)

Edit: Why do they call it resistant materials and not woodwork?

There is a course called Resistant Materials?

So is a chippie, or carpenter, now called a Resistant Materials Development Technician?

The resistant materials course one of the types of Design and Technology that you can do. It comes up in your exam results as Design and Technology (Resistant Materials), but there are other sections of D&T you can study in.

At my school they have resistant materials (working with wood and metal), food and graphics (graphics is designing things with plastics and cardboard); I think they have also introduced something to do with electricity and wiring since I finished there.

Small water balloons, filled from the oxy-acetylene nozzle - throw them into a naked flame (from a distance).

Another cool trick was boiling liquids in test tubes too quickly so that a bubble of air forced the liquid out at high speed - point it across the room for a surprisingly dangerous weapon.
