Sadly, we have even more people of an even more annoying kind in my year: the ones usually described as preps. You know, like, good grades, (mostly) good looks, sucking up to teachers etc... yuck! I mean, I don't hold anything against good grades (I'm near the top of my year, but I'm one of laziest people around... I'm no good in subjects you have to learn by heart, eg history, but I get good grades in subjects where you just have to understand something, eg maths), but I hate people who raise their hand and talk for 10 minutes without actually saying anything. And sucking up to teachers is just... bleh. I have some teachers who are more like friends to me (although they are all teachers who don't teach me anymore), but I would never ever act like I like someone just to get a better grade.
... and don't know any of the bands you named... well except my chemical romance, and I only know one of their songs. Lyrics are whiny, but I love the video 😀
