I ve stated a few games with players and use the title start/finish quick game anyone when they accept the game i make sure by messaging them and only one player has played they usualy get to near 10 moves and then stop and play every few days why?? when all im after is a game.
Once you get a Pawn Star and join a clan the quality of your opponents will get much better. It was well worth the price of admission.

Hi, I have to agree. RHP's subscription is minimal. I live in London, so it's about the price of a bottle of wine when going out to dinner. At other countries I realise it is a bit more expensive, but still worth it.
If however you dont want to subscribe, I suggest you either challenge players in the 'Players Table' , or instead of creating games, you look for others that have created games. It's more unlikely that someone thats not really interested in the game will create a game, than someone that simply clicks on "accept".
Truth be told , before I registered, I could have sworn that certain players were fictitional and only created to take up some of those valuable 6 slots I had 🙂
gl though. 😉
I, too, have been very annoyed by these people frequently. I had ones that put on the vacation sign when they start to lose, but continue moving in their other games, just log in one time and start 5 games and never come back, or stop moving when they start to lose. I even had one that quit playing when I told them I wasn't interested in going to a chat room. Here's my recommendation: be selective of who you play. Pick players off the MAP list or look at thier profile. If they joined a year ago and have only made 310 moves, first time here, have alot og games that they haven't moved in, etc. I look at each one of my opponents and I also set my time controls to 3 and 0. After awhile you meet alot of players that are very active during the same time period that you usually are.
There are players that love chess, but cannot move everyday due to other circumstances. These people usually label or accecpt games as appropriate, so try not to label all slow players as "bad". Another solution: challenge me.

P.S. maybe someone could suggest to Russ to allow a 1 and 0 time control for us bored addicts.
