the red comes bacl to page 1...probably the nice sunshine in Europe brought chess players (and froum participants) out into the summer!

In fact the red threads at the bottom are a regular occurence now.

Most posting is done on the nig threads with more than 1000 posts already...

I think this is generally true for any kind of forum. Problem here is if there is no activity it is very difficult to rekindle interest and you need a few dedicated posters to show some activity, so that others feel compelled to participate.
