Is it authentic? We may be able to haggle for it..... Would your father accept American currency? One American dollar is worth like two million whatevers over there, right?

Lately, its been the other way round. A couple of years ago a dollar used to cost 13.5 SA rands, now going cheap at just 5.7 rands.

Not sure Americans realize how poor they're getting.

Not sure Russ realizes the dwindling value of the subs he collects.

Hey, it wasn't George Washington's ghost was it?

there's a guy at my uni who'se getting a bursarie form the US every month, in dollars, each cheque is identical, but in pounds it's gone down oh so much!

and people are selling "old tom morris" £5 notes on e-bay. apparently they're "extremly rare" as they were only made on one day of this year and only distributed in the fife area.

i collected 5 in a week or so then kinda gave up cause i couldn't be arsed selling them...

Still the same. It appears to get updated only once per day. Yesterday it was 1.27910 Australian dollars to the U.S. dollar.
