The cast was The Skipper, Gilligan, A millionaire couple, all played by the same actors in the series. A school teacher and 2 waitresses, played by other actors. The theme song was also very different. It was written and sung by producer Sherwood Schwartz.

I figured that was it given the time period of the show and how momentous that assasination was.
I had no idea what the tragic event was until I saw a video.
I remember I was.outdide playing with a balsa wood airplane with rubber band propeller.
Grandma called me in to tell me, I was about 4 years old but realized how bad it was.
