Well, fine ladies and honorable gentleman, the KKK thread
at debates was erased *sigh*
Now it is time to agree sending some feedback to get
huck as mod, if he wants. I think he has shown balance,
fairness and a real quick reaction as we just witnessed.
Those agreeing please raise your hand!
And a vote from each of my other user names (Just Kidding!)

Tell me about them. Tell me what qualities are missing from the mod team.
Now my question, Thats two monkey avatars that have questioned my ability, are you afraid of me trying to be a mod?
Oh yeah, and my post was tongue in cheek, made after the Racist thread remained an hour and a half.
This is a touchy subject for you, i can tell.

And from my part, thanks too to Red Night who start the thread. I think he can't imagine the turn this thread has taken. But it was very previsible.
Thanks RN.

But lets give the credit to Huck. He PMed me about the offensive thread. All I had time to do was alert it and start this thread and then I ran out the door.

Between them they spend plenty of time online. And anyway, sheer time at RHP is not the most important quality in a mod.

Paranoid is definitely not a quality I look for in a mod. I just dislike people who campaign for non-vacant posts.
Post was tongue in cheek
People use that one a lot round here.

Originally posted by dottewellThat is a personal feeling that much of us hold inside of ourselves. This is not about mudslinging other volunteers. It is a thankless job. But I think there are some needs that aren't being addressed. I am not going to mention what they are but many others already know.
What's missing from the mod team? What qualities to do they lack? In what way is each of them in need of a new mod to balance them out?
Originally posted by SeitseNot at all. If you think there aren't enough mods, campaign for another one. Then, if Russ decides you are right, you can campaign for a particular candidate.
So what is the problem with another mod?
Who says if there are enough mods or not?
A new addition to the team would damage
someone or something?
mmmhhh... I wonder if... *scratches chin*
That seems the fair and reasonable way of going about things.
I wouldn't mind another mod. I think, though, it should be someone who is reasonably distant from some of the current "debates" which have poisoned the general forum.
It's not hard to work out that a lot of this "campaigning" is little more than an underhand way of accusing one particular mod of bias.

I also suspect Ross prefers his mods to stick up for one another, rather than undermine each other.
