I would like to use GNU chess under Windows 7 for training and analysis purposes (belive it or not: I don't want to use it for cheating).
Has anyone managed to install GNU chess under Windows 7? Could you please point me to a site with an installer?
I simply can't find it, maybe I'm searching wrong but all I find are sites with sources. I do not want to build it from source.
Also, do you have recommendations for the frontend? Is winboard still the way to go or are there better alternatives?
Also, any engines you can recommend besides GNU chess? I know there are many engines, but are there any you can personally recommend?
