They look good so far. As long as the pitching holds out, they will do well.
They can fall out of bed and hit.

Well, they are nine points ahead already. Eight if you assume that Celtic will win their game in hand. Me, I'd much prefer if Motherwell would win it for a change. Or anyone else not in the Old Firm, really.

Says you. The only name in the title, and the first post, was "Rangers". Now of course the lack of a real sport being mentioned could only mean one thing: it must be about a USA-specifc sport. Because those are the only ones that could possibly matter, right?

Richard

(Yes, of course I knew. But I didn't stop to realise just how abysmally bad USAliens are at grokking irony.)

Euroweenies think they have a lock on irony and look down on us no matter what. Mind you they'd be speaking German and suerkraut would be their only veggie were it not for us. But let them think they have it all cornered. That's OK! As long as they stay over there and only bother us occasionally by calling us dolts and bumpkins. Doesn't bother me one bit.

BTW "Ranger" looked awesome indeed last night. Like you said they can fall out of bed and hit. However, their starting pitching is worrisome indeed. I don't see them having two bad series in a row, though. What do you think?

Erm... Kursk and Stalingrad are in Euroweenie...

Well, OK, they're on the edges, but that's closer to Europe than your Rugby for Sissies is to real rugby!

Stalingrad is firmly in Asia! Political accident that it belongs to Russia. We supplied the materiel for the Ruskies or they woulda been toast. Kursk was somewhat closer this way, but still east enough to be considered Asia. Even Euroweenies don't consider Russia Euroweenie enough to qualify. No wusses them Ruskies, but hardly coulda done it without the western front firmly opened.

Apples and oranges. Rugby is but a mere predecessor of a real sport, American Footie! Predecessors are only that. Shadows of the modern thing.

No it's not. West of the Ural + North of the Caucassus = firmly in Europe.
