No disagreement about that. Just about Toronto Maple leaves as I said they beat Montreal in 1967.

NP....I know very little about English football. I was young enough to remember that happening in 1967 I watched the series back when there were only 6 NHL teams I believe, as I know how old I was. You have far more knowledge about English Football though.

EDIT: I believe that was the same year they added 6 more teams to make it 12, now they over 30. One time I knew all the players, not anymore.

I know but very loyal fans is the point I was making. I seem to always compare to Hockey, the Toronto Maples Leaf's are in the same position.

This year they could have finished off the Stanley Cup Champs and could have closed it in game 6 and didn't. Went to game 7 and they lost another one, yet their fans remain loyal.

It was just the 1st round 3 more to go for the Cup, which hard to win.
