@the-gravedigger said"Bad" cops interfering with your internet maybe?
Can't get the dang thing to work
@wolfgang59 saidThere are good bad cops, it is the bad cops that get all the attention. I am quite sure there are more good cops than bad cops in this world, at least I hope so. Keep in mind if it is being recorded they know they are being watched, so may do things in a different way.
There are some idiots who think condemning some police or
condemning the system is condemning ALL police. It isn't.
This thread, if not hijacked by fools, is for the good cops.
This is the starter.

@caesar-salad saidGood point made c-s. I know it looks like civil unrest is in many states which is never a good sign. I know I am very fortunate to be living in Canada.

@wolfgang59 saidMy experience is largely with german Police and I am often awed by how much provocations the officers can take without becoming angry.

@wolfgang59 saidIn my working life I have seen a good number of police officers do outstanding work with really challenging mental health crises in a central Liverpool emergency room.
That shows their professionalism. Thanks for posting.
In my private life in the 80s I saw a terrible incident in which a black youth was pinned to the floor after being needlessly provoked and mismanaged.
On the one hand it is sad that it is the negative first hand experience that is easiest to remember. On the other hand the police are professionals and if I had behaved appallingly and caused somebody unnecessary harm just once in my professional life I would expect that to be dealt with however good my practice had been in countless stressful and provocative situations over 30 years.
@ponderable saidYes, because they are **professionals**.

I saw that too, Pondy, when I was in Frankfurt.
@wolfgang59 said[sarcasm]Thanks to my white privilege and my 36Cs, I have never, EVER had a problem with cops, good or bad.[/sarcasm]
