I think in Great Britain pissed means drunk. It took me years before I realized all Brits were not angry, that's the Scots.

Almost. In Oz we're seriously confused, it means drunk if it's by itself, if we've put an "off" after it we're extremely cross, and it also means you've been told to go away.

Over here it would be:-

His girlfriend told Him to p'ss off when He banged on Her door at 2 a.m, so He ## on Her door and staggered off.
