Good News/Bad News

Good News: Studies are finally in and it's conclusive... there is no such thing as lapsing into your second childhood.

Bad News: You're still in your first one. You're a pain in the neck. That's why nobody really wants to be around you.

Reminiscent of "When I was child I thought as a child; spoke as a child; behaved as a child. Now that I am older still doing the same things."

Are there studies about early-onset old-manhood? I celebrated my 21st birthday a few months ago. A friend of mine, who is only a year younger than I, recently told me he thinks of me "like an uncle" ๐Ÿ˜•.

Also I am going grey ๐Ÿ˜ .

Ah turning 21! My memory of that birthday was of having a horrible tooth ache and trying (and succeeding) in getting completely "hammered" without any respite from the pain. Two days later and a temporary root canal, I was off to Scotland (land of my birth) for a three week tour that turned into a 14 month European "vacation". Wow that was a loooooong time ago. Thanks for the memory......Kind of.

"Well, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that Neil will be taking over both branches, and some of you will lose your jobs. Those of you who are kept on will have to relocate to Swindon, if you wanna stay. I know, gutting. On a more positive note, the good news is, I've been promoted. So, every cloud...

You're still thinking about the bad news, aren't you?"

Good News: Looks like we finally might get the ball rolling in this "stimulus package" thing

Bad News: The "stimulus package" may be a little too late.....we might need the supersized "resuscitation package" now.

Good News: This too shall pass. Bad News: In the long term we're all physically dead, empty tents stealing away to our reward (but that's good news).

Good News: Yes John you're going to "The Promised Land". Bad News: Because of that little indiscrection back in 1968, it's the other "Promised Land". :'(
