Interesting site (even if it doesn't work so well for this one)

I heard that some people were experimenting with better algorithms for translating keyword searches into image patterns (and not just finding the words through tags or in the file name). Know of any site that tries to do anything like that?

Nope, last time I heard anything about that was Google and their VisualRank project but that was at least 2 years ago.

Not quite what you are looking for (more like the reverse, but I am presuming the algorithms will be quite similar), but this is available for Android phones and iPhones.

I have it on my Android phone and it works rather well.

Very cool.

I'm not sure if the algorithms are similar, though. That one could do a TinEye type of search and collect all tags associated with those pictures and then go to the text search.
