Again Liverpool concede a set piece goal to Man U....Tevez, Rio, Silvestre, OShea and now Ronnie beneficiaries of the pool zonal defensive system.

Before the game there was talk of Ron not having scored against pool in seven attempts.......Apparently it is now ten hours since any Pool player has scored a league goal against United.

Six wins from last seven to win the title.......

I think Reina's inability to deal with anything which wasn't a shot (crosses and backpasses) was more to blame than the zonal system.

I'm not sure how you figure that United need to win 6 from 7 to win. The table is...
1 Man Utd 31 49 73
2 Chelsea 31 32 68
3 Arsenal 31 35 67
so United have 5 points plus 17 goals on Chelsea. Assuming that Chelsea win all their games (including the game against United), then United can afford to lose 1 more game, I think.

If Chelsea win all their games Man U still win title with six wins from seven as outlined below.

1 Man Utd 38 49 91
2 Chelsea 38 32 89

Man U cannot afford A second defeat it would result in Chelsea nicking title by one point..............
