Don'y shoot the planes that have already fropped their bombs. They don't come back for a second pass. Just try to shoot as many planes as early as you can, before they start coming in hot and heavy.
By the way, if you think Zero's first mission is tough, wait until you get to his next one. There is hopefully a special place in Hell that is reserved for whoever is responsible for that mission.
The third mission is easy, just obliterate the tanks first, ignore all directions from the geek and just destroy everything that can injure him first, then build bridges, then remove barrels and he can drive the whole course in one go. Easy :-)

I'm not sure exactly what it is that triggers the street races. I do belivee you have to have at least passed driving school with all Bronze, and bought the Wang Car Dealership. You will get a phone call from Jethro when the street races open up, and then you'll see checkered flag icons on your map. I didn't get that phone call until I was taking missions outside of San Fierro.

i know there is some redneck girl goes about in red county standing on the roof of an ammu-nation, shooting. i think she may be one, but everytime i see her she says things like "you gotta have style to be with me" (despite the fact im wearing my best pimp suit). i told my mate about her she said to him "what did you have for breakfast, steroids?" (hes been going to the gym lots)

Then check out the Girlfriends FAQ. Incidentally, you don't need to date these extra women to get 100%. But they do bestow upon you some nice rewards, like being able to keep all your weapons when you die.
