Not only is it poetic, it's damned funny too.
The drill seargent was only on set to instruct the actor, but Kubric found him so good, he put him in the fil ...[text shortened]... instead.

The language is definately not for children under the age of 3... or something.
Well, hell, thats GUNNY for gods sake! He must have made it big in this film because he has at least two TV shows now.
