I gave my daughter a Winchester manufactured M-1 carbine with a 500 round box of ammo and four 30 rd mags. Oh yes, and a box of exploding targets.

I guess the greatest gift was one that I did not recognize at the time. My parents were both still alive, my sisters and I had our marriages intact, and all of our children were young and full of hope. That was the Christmas of 1971. Within a few months my mom died, and everything went downhill after that. She always read the Christmas story from Luke before we opened our presents. I continued the practice after she was gone. The greatest gift of all was the one born in a manger ....a free gift to all who will accept it. So our greatest gifts are not the ones in our stockings or placed under the Christmas tree. They are love, family, and hope.

Grenades are classified as a Type II weapon which are not allowed to be owned by civilians. Not suitable for simple target practice which my daughter is in to. The exploding targets are more fun than granades.
My daughter has access to granades now that she 's in the military.

I was going to post a grenade picy, but i decided that i didn't want to be made fun of. I cried for 2 min.for even thinking of posting such a picy. So, Grampy darling, do not look for such a picy. I will not play such silly games. I'm sorry! Really, really sorry love!
