State of Origin is good but League lacks the diversity of Union, you have no scrums (not real ones anyway) where you can power your opponent, no driving mauls, no rucks where you can turnover the ball, its just a bit one dimensional. I mean its good, State of Origin is probably the best of Leauge, but when you have 80,000 people standing and signing La Marseillaise or Japanese fans beside themselves weeping profusely because their team just mauled the Saffers in one of the greatest sporting triumphs evah, it palls. You can't touch that.

yes the scrums are a joke but other than that the rules are much more clearer.
not to mention it's a private/public school thing.
those rugby union players are ever so well spoken ... usually with degrees.
