Tell yer friend to get a hanky...any drummer knows that it's easier to switch timing on the drums than on the guitar. I've never played with a drum machine before, so I don't know. I tried to start a band this past year. Had a name and everything. I was the only member. Heh...guess that's not my destiny...*sigh*

Yeah, timing is hard with a drum machine.... for us to get anything done he does need to play 'free' rather than setting up timing.

Yes it is always easier to play free. Easier to keep time, Harder to mess up. I don't see how people can think playing the drums is hard. Yer just beating on the skins. If you can keep time on the drums, it's hard to mess up. Even if you do, it sounds good. Which is why I chose the drums 😀
