I'm wondering the same thing about daylight savings time. I get the strangest feeling that its only our ass-brained country.

Halloween originated in the uk after its idea was passed to us from the Romans.... it was then passed to you. It is still celebrated here very much. DST was first practised by the germans in WW1 closely followed by the UK, except we kept it and most of europe now does not practise it. Sweden also changes the hour I think.

I heard somewhere that th govt saves billions each year in energy from it. Whatever, I hate it almost as much as I hate Halloween.

Them Romans came over here and do you know what they did they made the acters act for real in the plays ie acter is killed in the play so the Romans said acter must die and he (acter) would be dead
