After all my years of drinking, I still hate that feeling that lingers with me till about noon of the morning after a good drunk. Sometimes its not so bad, other days it feels like I got hit by a truck. You know what I'm talking about, those damn hangovers!!! Coffee in the morning, water before you go sleep, eating while you drink, eating some crackers before you go to bed, and those stupid pills they sell in the pharmacy now: none of them really do the trick. Anyone out there have secret remedies for a hangover, what do you do?

Lightweight! If you can't take the punishment don't commit the crime.
Otherwise, my own secret remedy is to avoid drinking too much if I have anything important on the next day.
haha, no offense mate, but most of the yanks i've been drinking with have been lightweights. i'd suggest a good couple of years of "training" in some countries like the uk, ireland, aussie or nz. that ought to get your liver completely pickled, at which point you find that the "more beer" option the morning after is always the best 🙂
that, and when you get back home, you actually won't be drunk, so there is no issue with hangovers! woohoo! winning all round!
*note: i will not support repayment on the second mortgage when you discover how expensive it costs to drink after said "training"

Didn't actually want to say this, but I actually did used to have a serious problem with alcohol. But with help from family and friends I recovered and am no longer dependent on it for a good time, but I still love to drink. So I definitely don't need training. I guess I was looking for someone to say something no one has ever heard of, for example - drink water with garlic powder in it (just made it up, not a true remedy) --- something crazy that has worked for someone before
