Canada is 149 years old to day July1,2016. This is our 4th of July for you Americans. Everyone have a Great Day! Especially the new immigrants having their first Canada Day in our Country. I plan on having a BBQ later.

Thank You both...Had a great BBQ with friends, then we went to the fireworks later in the evening, just got in a few minutes ago.

Canada is Friends with Britain and The United States. We are friendly with both Countries. They seem to be friendly with each other also. Why bring up something that happened a back in 1749 I believe it was. Or was that between England & France?

We had our difference too in 1812 but we have to move on. We still have our differences but they are still our allies as is Britain. Opening old wounds solves nothing.
What is done is done now.
