Doesn't this ring a bell ... 'Happy holidays would be more appropriate if you want to send well wishes to all members of RHP.'

Is it one rule for you and you set rules for everyone else around here?

This answer is full of wisdom. I cannot tell you how many times I come across people who have a terrible time letting people help them. They are so much more comfortable with helping and serving people but cannot be on the receiving end and receive help graciously. I said to a lady yesterday who had cancer and had a lifetime of helping others that there has to be two people in this equation. A giver and a receiver and it was now time for her to trade places and allow the giver to feel good about giving to her.

I tend to be that way too, hard to accept help from others and I haven't quite figured it out yet though I'm leaning towards feeling vulnerable maybe.
