American? Are you kidding? My band Southwind was asked by the IRA to be their band in the US, would have gotten a lot of gigs. Had to turn them down due to a TV appearance. True story.

Some irish heritage on maternal side as her father was irish but feel very British English due to place of birth and multi ethnic mash up.

My daughter was born on St.Patty's day. Does that count...for her I mean. I was born in another Celtic area.

hehe, actually it wasn't just the TV show that cause us to reject them, it was just we didn't want to be associated with bloodthirsty rebel types. Would have been different for sure, if we had taken them up on the offer.
