I don't think regular modern people can accept aliens.

Also..why did we hear about multiple alien sightings but since cellphone tech we see no real proof?

They can zoom into my nose hairs but we see a foggy grey video from the military?

I read a book about it but I can't remember the scientific word.
We won't have the ability to communicate because we are so different.

It would be like screaming at a jelly fish.

We are misled by star trek and star wars.

No you were misled, most of us just went to the movies.
If they are, and your right they would have to be streets ahead of us tech wise, then it wouldn’t be like a monkey screaming at a jellyfish. It would be like a highly advanced civilisation effortlessly figuring out our rudimentary grunt and glyph based language.
Whether they’d want to communicate with us is another matter.
Perhaps they’ve been monitoring the debates forum.
