We where taught growing up never dial 9 eleven or ask anyone to dial 9 eleven.
Some people in a panic will stand there a look for the 11 key.
Always say dial 9.1.1.
It might save a life.

Good evening to you dear. I the U.S.A. if you do that they wont help you. Not that dialing nine one one will help you much faster. If you’re on a cell phone at least you'll save a little money.
