how the crap do you get interested in useful but boring stuff though? gatecrasher if i was following your method would i have to have had sex with the pin number?

you assign a sound to the numbers 0-9
so 0=s/z
1=d/t
2=n
3=m
etc etc
then you link an image to each number using letters so:
1= tea
2=knee
3=me
...
12=tan
13=time
using vowels liberally.
then you use these images to link the items you need to rem nee etc etc
easy peasy lemon squeezy

that's sort of what i used to remember my friend's PIN number today (in that you can use the same idea to memorise numbers) -- i pictured a lime being squeezed onto the friends hands as she hung off my balcony ledge. (LIME LEDGE = LMLJ = 5356)
neat - i'm sure i'll remember it next week or next month come to that.
it didn't take long to learn which sounds go with which number, either (he has cool ways of remembering that stuff too).
hey i'm sold! 🙂
