another question? now that sirius black is dead who will inherit number 12 grimwald place will it go to harry or to the malfoys creature is bound to serve his family so undoubtedly he will go live with the malfoys, telling them all the secrets of the order of the phoenix also will the order disband or continue to meet at 12 grimwald place or find another hide out. will fred and george become members and will harry be allowed to play quidditch. if so who will be seeker. also in philosophers stone ron sees himself as quidditch capptain and as head boy he is obviously on th quidditch team and he has been made a prefect do you think the mirror does tell the future and harry's parents could come back to life. or perhaps harry will die and join his parents...please comment.

Everybody thought Snape tried to kill Harry. So I don't think that it's too far-fetched for Aunt Petunia's story to change/expand as her character is developed.
Dudley can't be the Half-Blood Prince because Aunt petunia's parents were both muggles. Lily was a witch in the same way that Hermione is. Dudley is a muggle.
That being said, I found an interesting Petunia theory on the web (not my views, but interesting):
Why does Petunia Dursley know so much about the wizarding world... ?? Because she was once part of it... mrs Evans had two little girls, both of whom developed magical powers... Lily and Petunia both went to Hogwarts, and learned as well as they could, Lily always being the most able... but Petunia had some extraordinary powers, uncommon even among witches and wizards... Unfortunately, on holiday Petunia met and fell in love with Vernon Dursley, and after trying to gauge his views on magic, found that he was a definite magic hater... so, in order to please the man she loved, she pretended to hate magic too, and hid her powers... she left the Order of the Phoenix just as her special powers were needed most, and as a result, she was stripped of her powers, and exiled to the world of muggles... in order to do penance for her actions, which she realised had endangered the world, she reluctantly agreed to help Albus Dumbledore, her old head of house, to shelter the infant Harry Potter....
