If you think typing a site URL is bad, how about having one in your Favourites list?
There's an Australian singer called Wendy Matthews. Her first homepage (run by a couple of fans) eventually got replaced by a more commercial one run by her record company. But they didn't keep the same address.
I only found this out when the original one, which I had in my Favourites but hadn't consulted between albums, was replaced by some X-rated material. Methinks someone took advantage of the domain name registration lapsing!
