It seems apparent that you are relatively new here. A timeout win happens to a ton of people here. Have had a few myself. Here is the thought process though. Just like in a regular chess game, there is a timed limit. If you don't make your moves within the time limit, you lose.
pretty simple really
If you look at a players profile down the bottom on the right hand
side you will see how many wins/losses this player has had due to timeouts.
Your opponent Jazka has had 43 wins this way and lost none.
Adam (who posted earlier) has won 490 and lost 14 due to timeouts.
The Cavaliar has 379 wins and lost 31.
Your running stat is
wins on time out 0. losses on time 1
But you won't be able to see this until you have played 6 rated games.

I was just a little surprised by his attitude, apparently he only plays 1 day games with no extra time. A new experience for me ...
