Shawn Fanning created napster.

Niklas Zennström created Skype. Niklas Zennström was involved in creating Kazaa, though, who became very popular when Napster was dragged in front of a court.

[Edit: I should note that Niklas had help from other programmers from estland among others. Skype is also just an assembly of previously written Open-Source software, so he sort of took the pieces of the puzzle and put them together. Still, I'm proud of him. 😏 ]

A lot of good software comes from that direction, linux from nearby too eh?
