ok, tried going to my games at shool to and i still can't get theresorry if i don't move i'am having trouble at my home computer. i downloaded a pop up blocker and now i can't go to my games. i'm sending it in to a guy to fix it. i will move as soon as posible. i have to write this from my school computer. so sorry if i don't move they won't let me here.
Hi,
I'm also having trouble with home access. Thought it was my computer for a while but as it's a laptop I took it to several friend's houses and it connects okay from there.
From home I get a 'no dialing tone' message. My phone appears to work fine, I use the same cable, etc.
I called BT and they basically said they do not guarantee internet access, only phone. So I may change to a cable company, although I don't really want to.
Anyway, this explains why have been moving so infrequently of late, and have lost several games to time-outs.
Anybody any ideas? I may ring BT again and see if the threat of moving to another company shifts them into gear...

That's what I've heard anyway.

They will come check the phone line for poor connections and it seems to help the internet pretty well when they test and fix the phone line.
Not sure why it wouldn't hear the dial tone, but that is worth a try if you like to give it a shot.
