HI PRAD
GOOD QUESTION ! IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT ONTARIO WOULD BE WORTH A VISIT OR WINNIPEG. PROBABLY NOT A BIG CITY, WHERE WE LIVE IN BRISTOL,UK. THERE ARE OVER 1000,000 PEOPLE !! PREFER SPACE AND LESS CARS AROUND .
ALL THE BEST

we lived in ontario (toronto area) for 4 decades. it's great if you like city stuff which we did for quite a while. then we visited bc and a mountain kept telling me we should return, so we moved out here (within sight of that mountain) and found a spot that is pretty well out of the city.

there is no doubt in my mind that the weather is better and the life is 'slower' and pleasanter here than back east - but that's not for everybody.

if you want to know about winnipeg, you can ask my friend bigg - poor fellow lives there 😀
if you want to know about montreal, you can ask my friend rgoudie - poor fellow lives there 😀
(of course, they may not be my friends anymore if they read this post)
😀😀

there are lots of great places to live in canada and since you are looking for space, you may want to consider a rural setting (space) that is fairly near to a city (convenience). also, depending on what your wife teachs, being near a city may be useful (though that isn't always the case).

in friendship,
prad

Hi!

Yes, Canada is large.

Which part of Canada are you looking at?

I have lived in many parts of it.

Take Care,

Big G.

I'm still be your friend, though I must point out that my wife read your post and she agress with you. She has been wanting to move to Vancouver for quite a while. 😀

She claims that Montreal sucks, but I don't agree. It's great if you can get over the feeezing winters and silly politics.

Why don't the two of you compromise and move to Vancouver Island?😉

Stay in Montreal. If I was to live in Canada that is where I would want to live.😏

Any reasons why you would choose Montreal over, say, Vancouver?
