Welcome back Rusty. We thought the men in white coats had dragged you away kicking and screaming.

Don't you mean that is what you thought happened? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I really didn't go anywhere if you check my move history, just not playing in the forums.

Sounds good but I was thinking a couple of hundred miles rather than 11 thousand.

Anytime after the first Monday in September I can probably get some good rates for everyone from the hotel I work at. Of course, you would have to come to San Antonio, Texas, USA. We even have some tables and chairs for chess playing.
Any takers ?

I did boot came in San Antonio, Lackland, you no doubt have heard of it.
Went back on a professional gig a few years ago and was struck by the dichotomy of the inner city and the outer ruins. A beltway with Bar, Car lot, Bar, Car lot, Bar Bar, Car lot, Car lot๐Ÿ™‚

I hope you went to the Alamo. There is a library inside which my great aunt Ruby raised the money for during WW2. Our population has reached 1.5 million and the area around Lackland AFB is all developed with thousands of houses now.

Wow, a LOT bigger than it was when I was there, deep into the heart of the last century๐Ÿ™‚

I was sent there as a rep for my company, Varian, ion implant division, RIP now, but ATT went to San Anton and I was impressed by the center city, was really beautiful which surprised the hell out of me actually๐Ÿ™‚ This was like 25 years later after boot camp.

The River Walk is probably 10 times longer than when you were here last. (and getting longer)
