I'm up for a meet as long as there is beer.
I live in North Yorkshire but can travel.

Anytime after the first Monday in September I can probably get some good rates for everyone from the hotel I work at. Of course, you would have to come to San Antonio, Texas, USA. We even have some tables and chairs for chess playing.
Any takers ?

Went back on a professional gig a few years ago and was struck by the dichotomy of the inner city and the outer ruins. A beltway with Bar, Car lot, Bar, Car lot, Bar Bar, Car lot, Car lot๐

Wow, a LOT bigger than it was when I was there, deep into the heart of the last century๐
I was sent there as a rep for my company, Varian, ion implant division, RIP now, but ATT went to San Anton and I was impressed by the center city, was really beautiful which surprised the hell out of me actually๐ This was like 25 years later after boot camp.
