Hello all, hope to get some help here ...

Being the leader of the Metallica Clan, I feel it is time that we get our own home-page with at least a discussion forum, member-profiles etc. going...

I've just signed up with geocities.com and created the homepage. visit

http://www.geocities.com/theslowpawn/MetallicaClan

I have absolutely no idea what to do next (as you can see)... could someone message me or post here how to at least get a forum up and running ?

Thanks a lot

Visit: http://www.proboards.com/index.html

Totally free message boards with hardly any adverts and no pop-ups. Have been using the free forums for just over a year and no probs. You can colour co-ordinate with your original site as well. Just link from your geocities page to your forum. 🙂

I have seen a javascript game viewer script that will allow you to have a board on your website capable of viewing games. All you need to do is cut and paste the code into your webpage (with accompanying <script> html tags 😉).

Just one problem, can't remember where i saw it 😕. I need this code for a similar project for my OTB club so if i find it i'll mail you with some html 😉

😀🙂😛🙁😞😴

I cheated, had an old copy of Frontpage. Then found a cheap host that uses frontpage extentions. Much easyer 😉

Cool site. Those page transitions do get a bit annoying after a while though...
