my opponet has just made a en passant move , how do i use it on the board , i cant see any options come up ,ie like promoting a pawn

just take it like it was there. i.e. if your oppenent has moved a2-a4 just move your pawn b4xa3 and as long as the en passant is legal at that point it will just go through as a move
