This program (which is free of spyware) will tell you important things about your computer. It will also identify the model # of your motherboard! 😵
Ok, so once you write that info down, then go to Google and type in "motherboard bios updates" and locate the site for your motherboard.
D/l the program to flash your motherboard OR run it from the site...
WARNING! If you do not know what you are doing then DON'T do this! A motherboard update is important for you, but get somebody who is computer literate to do it if you don't know what you are doing because if you make a mistake your computer will never boot again! :'(
Although this sounds like an extreme, updating your bios is important. Why? Well, for an example... a while back I made a post complaining that when I upgraded my memory from 500 megs to a gig, that my computer actually SLOWED DOWN!!! ðŸ˜
Yeah, that happened because my old bios was not programmed to handle a gig of memory. I actually had to remove my $100 upgrade in memory at that time. ðŸ˜
However, I discovered that a simple flash upgrade to the motherboard would solve the problem - giving me a much faster computer. I did it and everything works fine now. 😵
