With regards to your picture, it is possible that your picture is the wrong size, it may be too wide, so to show all of it, black bands would exist on the bottom/top of the picture.

Many of your questions can be answered in the Help forum. It is very useful for new subscribers and would be the best place to learn how to manage this site.
I hope you have fun, but if you hang around here, close your eyes because it is NOT G Rated even though it is the G forum. There has been efforts made to tame it, but you will soon learn that there is substantial protest against those efforts and the forum is somewhat liberal. Which is both good and bad depending on your age and mindset.
